Describe leaks as where they travel on that terrazzo. Water on a hard floor looks like more water than it is, and it also finds the garage if the room opens that way.
Dryers and the side-wall vent
A short vent through the utility-room wall should be easy to see from outside. If the flap never moves, the restriction is close: a crushed elbow behind the dryer or a cap painted shut. If the flap hammers open and the clothes are still damp, look at heat rather than airflow.
Clean the lint screen and then watch one cycle from the yard. That observation is the whole diagnosis for a surprising number of these houses. Stop if you smell burning.
Kitchens that are wide and not tall
